Melanie Davis

Director of Business Development

Melanie has been in bookkeeping for over 7 years and was most recently promoted to manager. She moved to the accounting industry after earning an Advanced Accounting Technical Certificate from Lone Star College. Prior to joining Better Bookkeepers, Melanie was a dance instructor in the Houston area and the Artistic director of a Houston competition team.

Melanie graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a minor in Accounting. After pursuing a professional career as a member of The Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, she returned to Lone Star College to pursue her passion for accounting. She is a CPA candidate.

Melanie loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys live music, dance concerts, shopping, and traveling.
